Kim Suter, MA, BCBA, CBIST, LBA
Kim grew up in Tulsa, OK where she completed her undergraduate degree at Oklahoma State University. While in school, she worked at a charter school that focused on children with brain injuries, developmental disabilities, and severe behavioral disorders. This one-of-a-kind school provided training to therapists and clinicians. Each student received daily behavioral therapy and/or counseling. This was the initial spark for her calling and passion for helping others. Her original career path was in insurance and leading catastrophe teams in natural disasters. While living in Kansas City she decided she wanted to pursue her passion in the field of behavioral analysis and completed her MA at Ball State University in Applied Behavior Analysis with a certificate in autism and ABA. She now has several years practicing in the greater KCMO area and was one of the first BCBAs to specialize in brain injury treatment and intervention implementation in Kansas and Missouri.
Kim resides in Johnson County Kansas with her husband and two young boys. She enjoys gardening, fossil and shark tooth hunting on beach vacations, and spending time with friends and family.
